Bond Bank welcomes new Loan Officer Ken Linge

Burlington, VT (September 14th, 2022) – Executive Director Michael Gaughan announced that the Vermont Bond Bank (Bond Bank) named Ken Linge as its new Loan Officer following an extensive search.

Ken joins the Bond Bank after having served as the Executive Director of the National Coalition for Community Capital (NC3), a national nonprofit advocating for capital market reforms that foster better opportunities for local investment. A Vermont resident for 25 years, Ken has lived and worked in Addison, Washington, Orange, and Chittenden Counties. For eight years, Ken served as the director of the Blake Memorial Library in Corinth prior to attending the SI-MBA program at UVM.

“We were so fortunate to find Ken. He has the perfect background to help our communities having both an understanding of complex financial systems as well as hands-on experience working at the ground level throughout the state,” Michael commented.

At the Bond Bank, Ken will support existing and potential borrowers by responding to loan inquiries, guiding borrowers through the application process, and serving as a source of technical assistance for questions surrounding debt issuance. He will also lead the development of the Bond Bank’s new Flexible Loan Fund.

Ken continues to serve on the board of NC3 and is a member of the City of South Burlington Economic Development Committee. He holds an MBA from the University of Vermont and an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College.
